McCaffrey’s Chippy is a local family-run business which is named after the late family matriarch and “head honcho”, Rose McCaffrey….Rose loved a chippy!
Our family have decades of experience in the food industry and we are very proud to bring our first fish and chip shop to the village of Waverton and surrounding communities.
Just recently established in 2026, we have no accolades, prizes and awards to boast of… we hope they will come in time. However we can offer a freshly cooked menu with the finest ingredients from local suppliers across the North West. All our Fish and Chips are cooked to order, our Pizza Dough is homemade, our Chargrilled Burgers are made from prime beef and our Southern Fried Chicken and Kebabs are to die for. Our sustainably sourced Cod, Haddock and Hake head up our chippy menu followed by plenty of everyone’s favourites such as Battered Jumbo Sausages, Pie Dinners, Homemade Fishcakes, Scallops and Chop Suey Rolls.
